Senior Finance Officer
Do you have three or more years' experience in a Finance or similar role? We would love to have you join our small, friendly hardworking and busy Finance team who play a key role in supporting our three cultural venues.
You will work closely with the Senior Accountant on the preparation of various financial information, external reports and statutory returns.
A core part of the role will be to work with the Finance Manager in relation to show settlements.
You will also deputise for the Senior Accountant as required.
Anvil Arts presents over 400 performances each year to 180,000 people drawn from throughout central Southern England. The Anvil, The Haymarket and The Forge offer a rich and high-quality programme of music of all genres, drama, dance, and comedy, serving a wide range of audiences. Part-time, 30 hours per week to be worked over 4 or 5 days
5.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays or pro-rata equivalent
Salary £25, 850 per year
The key objectives of this role:
To assist the Senior Accountant and work with a small and busy finance team
To deputise for the Senior Accountant as required
To maintain and update the nominal ledger and assist with various month-end and year end procedures
To assist in preparing various financial information, external reports, and statutory returns
To reconcile and calculate show settlements in conjunction with the Finance Manager
