Camberley Warehouse


CONTRACT:

Permanent, Full Time


JOB FUNCTION:

To motivate and develop the Assistant Manager and warehouse team and ensure all staff are trained in all aspects of their job role. Ensuring maximum output efficiency to stores and Cobham departments as required.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


Warehouse

* Ensure that the Warehouse operates smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis
* Ensure that all Health & Safety aspects are being observed and adhered to
* Report any issues with Facilities/ICT and H&S immediately and follow through recommendations or remedial works
* Liaise with suppliers to book in deliveries. Email the Merchandise dept. every Monday by 10am with the delivery schedule for the week and share updates during the week in a timely fashion.
* Ensure deliveries are booked onto TSM within 24 hours and send copies of GRN’s to be sent to accounts the same day or day after
* Ensure all stock is located correctly in the warehouse and on TSM
* Manage the operational procedures between all retail stores, ensuring these are as effective as possible through clear communications
* Ensure new products are in store within 1 – 2 days after receiving
* Ensure that all Stock Takes are run correctly ensuring counts and follow up investigations are thorough and accurate and reported accordingly
* To ensure shrinkage procedures are in place and are being followed and that all stores adhere to auditor’s requirements
* Ensure all manual transfers/scans to the Warehouse from the stores are correct and processed on TSM


Warehouse – Delivery van

* Ensure the delivery van is maintained, LOLER inspections are carried out.
* Ensure that the delivery van is serviced and MOT and ensure a replacement vehicle is available for deliveries.
* Ensure that daily check sheets are filled in and report any defect to the garage


Warehouse - Staff

* Ensure all staff are trained in all aspects of H&S
* Send any staff on training as and when required to improve own performance and knowledge
* To mentor the Assistant warehouse manager, delegate and share workload as appropriate


Retail

* Liaise with store manager with regards to store moves/new products/promotions to ensure they have the correct stock in a timely manner
* Ensure all requests/scans for matches are picked correctly and the “in transit dept.” is managed closely to highlight discrepancies
* To ensure B & M are made aware of all QC issues on products and packaging and manage solution correctly until rectified
* To communicate all licensee issues when they are not complying with our booking in or collections procedures
* Clear and concise communication with all 3rd parties and suppliers to maintain and build better relationships i.e.: Adidas, Source Lab etc
* To embody the club’s BLUE behaviours (Brave, Lead, Unity, Edge) in the approach to work and interaction with others
* To adhere to the club’s policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Financial Authorisation, Confidentiality and GDPR.
* To act as an ambassador for diversity, equality, and inclusion, and demonstrate a positive commitment by treating others fairly in line with our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy and reporting any acts of discrimination through appropriate channels
* To create a safe environment and act to protect all young people and vulnerable adults that are either in your care or attending club premises, and report any concerns to the Safeguarding Lead
* To report any misconduct or suspected misconduct to the HR Department
