As a Credit Control Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Care Homes business by ensuring that billing and credit control processes run smoothly. You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team that helps keep things on track – making sure payments are collected on time and customer queries are handled with care. This is more than just a numbers role – it’s about making a real difference to people’s lives by helping them navigate the financial side of care with confidence and clarity. How you’ll help us make health happen. In this role, you’ll: Manage a dedicated portfolio of Care Home Sales Ledger accounts Monitor account balances and ensure timely collection of payments Investigate and resolve customer queries through account reconciliation Communicate with customers and internal teams via phone, email, and letter Support Care Home Administrators with billing system setup and maintenance Approve refund requests in line with policy and procedures Provide guidance on billing matters and undertake invoicing duties Maintain accurate records and add detailed notes to the billing system Work closely with regional teams and finance colleagues to manage debt positions Meet individual and departmental targets Continuously look for ways to improve processes and customer experience Key Skills/Qualifications required for this role We’re looking for someone who’s confident with numbers and even better with people. You’ll bring: Previous experience within a Credit Control environment is essential Strong customer service and communication skills – written and verbal Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook A proactive, organised approach with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines A collaborative mindset – you enjoy working with others to solve problems A keen eye for detail and a drive for accuracy Commercial awareness and a customer-first attitude A willingness to learn and grow – we’ll support your development every step of the way Benefits Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
