Junior Merchandiser
Manchester (Hybrid)
£34,000 – £38,000 + Benefits

With a strong digital footprint and retail presence, they manage significant product volumes across stores and online channels.
Merchandising sits at the heart of the commercial operation. The environment is fast paced, highly analytical and detail driven. Decisions are built from granular data, structured forecasting and strong cross functional collaboration. Due to internal promotions, they are investing heavily across their merchandising teams.
The Junior Merchandiser supports the delivery of sales, stock and profit targets across the brand.
Key Responsibilities of the Junior Merchandiser:
* Produce and analyse detailed weekly trade reports using Excel.
* Support product mix planning and sign off packs.
* Manage intake plans and maintain accurate forecasts in WSSI.
* Analyse historical sales data to identify risks and opportunities.
* Support range planning, size mapping and grading reviews.
* Attend weekly trade meetings
* Align promotions with multichannel teams across the Marketing and Digital teams.
* Support markdown proposals and price changes.
* Review distribution amendments and stock allocations.
* Support and guide junior team members where required.
The Key Skills of the Junior Merchandiser:
* Circa 5 years’ merchandising experience within retail
* Strong Excel capability, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
* Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable working with granular, data heavy reporting.
* Experience in a multi-brand or omnichannel retail environment preferred.
* Confident communicator across Buying, Marketing and Operations.
* Able to prioritise workload in a fast paced trading environment.
