Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Shifts: 6am–2pm / 12pm–8pm (Early Friday finish) We are seeking a talented Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our high-performing engineering team in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. This is a key role within our operation, ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our production equipment, as well as supporting new product launches and international projects across the EMEA region. You will work across a wide range of systems — electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process — delivering both planned and reactive maintenance, rapid fault diagnosis, and high-quality installations. With involvement in New Product Introduction (NPI), machine commissioning, and occasional travel to support wider engineering projects, this position offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a real impact. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment and site facilities Diagnose and resolve faults across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process systems Implement and commission new machinery with minimal external support Support the rollout of NPI processes across production lines Troubleshoot PLC and automation issues (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) Maintain accurate maintenance records and support root cause analysis Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance machine performance and reliability What We’re Looking For: Electrical bias with strong mechanical skills Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering PLC and industrial automation experience Proven track record in machine installation and commissioning Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset Willingness to support projects across the EMEA region (occasional travel) Why Join Us?
