Administrator / Accounts Assistant (Temp to Perm)
Location: Penshurst, Kent (directly opposite the train station – excellent transport links)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm
Pay: £13.25 per hour
Start: Immediate
Contract: Temp‑to‑Perm
We are currently seeking a reliable and organised Administrator / Accounts Assistant to join a busy and friendly fencing and pallets company based in Penshurst.
The Role
This is a varied office‑based role supporting the day‑to‑day administration and accounts function. Duties include:
Sending quotes, invoices and emails
Using Xero accounting software for invoicing and basic accounts administration
Speaking with clients who call in with orders (message‑taking only – no quoting required over the phone)
General administrative support
Maintaining accurate records and system updates
Requirements
Previous experience using Xero is essential
Confident using Microsoft Office systems (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent telephone manner and professional communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Previous admin and/or accounts experience in a similar role
