About the Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support the continued expansion of the platform across the UK. This role is ideal for a sales-focused professional who thrives on proactive outreach, relationship building, and closing partnerships. You will take ownership of a regional pipeline, identifying and onboarding new operator partners and working closely with internal teams to ensure successful launches and long-term partner performance.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively research, identify, and prospect new operator partners within the UK hospitality sector.
* Approach potential partners through cold calling, field-based sales, and targeted email outreach.
* Manage your sales pipeline end to end, from initial pitch through to contract close.
* Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with restaurant operators, pubs, dark kitchens, and takeaway businesses.
* Support new partners through onboarding and launch, ensuring a smooth transition into live operations.
* Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking using the company CRM system.
* Use data and territory planning tools to prioritise high-potential locations within your region.
* Work closely with account management, culinary, and operations teams to ensure partner quality and profitability.
* Identify opportunities to upsell additional brands to existing partners.
* Act as a key source of market insight, feeding back trends, challenges, and opportunities from the field.
* Achieve consistent monthly onboarding targets once fully ramped.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years’ experience in sales, business development, or a commercial role or internship/part-time experience involving cold calling and proactive outreach.
* Comfortable with cold outreach, proactive prospecting, and building relationships from scratch.
* Strong commercial acumen with confident negotiation and closing skills.
* Degree educated.
* Target-driven, resilient, and highly self-motivated.
* Confident communicator with strong spoken and written English.
* Willingness to travel across the UK multiple days per week.
* Passion for food, hospitality, and working with small to medium-sized businesses.
* Right to work in the UK.
