Business Development Manager – Essex
Established over 10 years ago, our clients is a multi-award-winning provider of construction equipment, providing first class products & services to a wide range of construction businesses across the UK.
Having continuously grown since their establishment, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. This role will involve managing the full sales cycle with prospective clients, and managing the accounts after they’ve been won on.

This is a hybrid opportunity for candidates based in Essex, with a range of field-based, office-based and depot-based working.
Responsibilities
* Identify new business opportunities through a range of outreach across the construction space
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to closing deals
* Maintain accounts after deal closing, driving further revenue from the account
* Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across both prospective & won accounts
* Create & deliver business plans to maximise revenue growth within defined territory
* Actively promote the companies brand, products and values, playing a successful role in the growth of the business
* Maintain up-to-date CRM system / records
The Successful Candidate
* Previous internal sales experience or field sales experience is required
* Candidates with a background in plant hire or hire equipment sales are ideal
* Experience selling into the construction industry would also be considered
* Based in Essex
Business Development Manager Package
* Basic salary: £45,000-55,000
* OTE: +£5,000 bonus
