Customer Team Member
Location: Hoyland Road, Hoyland, Barnsley, S74 0NE
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Contract: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview

You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team member at Co‑op, as it requires working before 6am or after 10pm.
What you’ll do
* Friendly and thoughtful service - put customers first in everything you do: respond to queries, champion Co‑op products and Membership, support with tasks on the post office counter, and deliver a great shopping experience
* Work with store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members
* Keep the store safe and legal — stock shelves, check prices, dates, and temperatures
* Help introduce new products and services — make changes feel natural and share experiences with colleagues so everyone learns
* Support your local community by getting involved in activities and events
