A wonderful rare opportunity to lead a department has arisen at our school. You will be a motivated and enthusiastic Head of Design & Technology to join our successful D&T Department in January 2026. You will be joining an established, supportive and very successful department within one of the top girls' schools nationally. You will have a vision for further development of this area of learning in girls' education. You will have a pivotal role in leading and managing the D&T Department to ensure high standards of teaching, learning and achievement. This involves strategic leadership, team management and the development of a strong D&T curriculum.
You will have the opportunity to shape the curriculum, develop innovative teaching methods, and mentor and develop a team of talented D&T teachers. You will be focused on the attainment of all students and have proven success at teaching across all abilities. You will be able to demonstrate outstanding classroom practice. You will contribute to the wider school life, both pastoral and extra-curricular activities are expected.

Our teaching load allocations allow additional time for PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment).
