We have an exciting opportunity for a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join our integrated substance misuse recovery team at the Therapeutic Community, HMP Wymott. The role involves delivering psychosocial group work and managing a caseload of patients residing on this unit.

Full-time role (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday 8.30–4.30pm.
Annual salary £29,264–£33,510 per annum, depending on experience.

Main duties
* Responsible for a caseload of patients – deliver support, 1‑1s, and advice on relapse prevention and triggers
* Deliver group sessions across the substance misuse service
* Carry out duty work, including reception, seeing new patients and carrying out assessments
* Provide outstanding care to psychosocial patients, seeking out, listening to, and acting on their feedback – ensuring care is personalised and tailored to the individual
* Provide a programme of psychosocial interventions
* Provide information and advice on substance misuse, alcohol, smoking cessation, blood‑borne viruses, and safe sex practices

Qualifications and experience
* Experience working in substance misuse – community, hospital, or secure setting
* Experience within a multi-disciplinary framework (housing, social care, health care, mental health pathways) – bonus
* Knowledge of SMART or experience running group sessions and 1‑1s – helpful
* Relevant qualification or equivalent experience
