*Our client based in Tonbridge offer fire and security services tailored for both domestic and commercial clients. They are looking to recruit a Fire Security Engineer on a full-time permanent basis.*
Their coverage area is, London and the Southeast. There is an element of work in London so only apply if you are happy to also work in London.
Key responsibilities include:
* *Installation:*
Setting up fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV cameras, access control & intercom systems, gate automation and emergency lighting.
* *Maintenance & Testing:*
Conducting routine servicing, inspections, and testing of fire and security systems to ensure they function correctly and meet safety standards.
* *Repairs:*
Diagnosing faults in existing systems and performing necessary repairs on-site to restore functionality.
* *Programming:*
Configuring and programming control panels and other devices within the systems.
* *Technical Advice:*
Providing expert advice to clients regarding system upgrades, new installations, and overall system performance.
* *Documentation:*
Maintaining detailed records of work completed, system performance, and test results.
* *Compliance:*
Ensuring all installed and maintained systems adhere to relevant UK regulations, industry standards, and legislative requirements.
The hours of work are 8 hours on site per day with up to 45 minutes travelling time each way. Anything over that is considered overtime and paid accordingly.
The actual hours will vary per day depending on the customers requirements, the location of the job and the type of job.

Salary; £33,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
