Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Neurology Consultant for a 3-month locum position. This role involves providing specialist neurological care and clinical leadership within a dynamic and multidisciplinary team. The position includes standard weekday shifts with on-call responsibilities every six weeks over weekends.Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMOn-Call Requirement: Weekend on-call duty every 6 weeksKey Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist neurology consultation and care to inpatients and outpatients.
* Contribute to diagnostic and treatment plans in collaboration with the wider medical team.
* Participate in MDT (multi-disciplinary team) meetings and case discussions.
* Offer supervision and support to junior doctors and trainees.
* Engage in on-call responsibilities as scheduled.
* Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with trust policies.
Mandatory Requirements:
* GMC Registration Evidence (Full license to practice)
* ALS (Advanced Life Support) or BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
Essential Criteria:
* Full GMC registration with a license to practice
* Extensive experience in neurology at consultant level
* Proven history of clinical excellence and patient care
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
* Eligibility to work in the UK
