Overview:
As a Manufacturing Operator, you'll be an integral part of our experienced team, involved in various aspects of manufacturing across specialized production lines. From operating high-tech machinery to maintaining safety and quality standards, you'll play a crucial role in turning raw materials into top-notch finished products.
Responsibilities:
•Embrace and promote a strong safety culture, adhering to site safety rules and SOPs.
•Conduct daily safety checks, risk assessments, and audits, recording and escalating findings as necessary.
•Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout production, resolving any issues that arise.
•Control documentation and complete task checks in line with SOPs.
•Operate barcode and label application machines.
•Safely operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to move products to and from production lines.
•Manufacture products according to CAD drawings, meeting company and customer requirements.
•Strive to achieve and exceed the company's performance-related metrics.
•Minimize downtime through effective setting, problem-solving, and collaboration with the engineering team.
Skills/Attributes Required:
•Solid understanding of health and safety protocols.
•Proactive attitude towards learning and implementing new concepts.
•Enthusiastic, can-do approach to work with a strong work ethic.
•Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Strong IT skills and confidence using technology.
•Problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
•Ability to read and understand data from safety, quality, availability, performance, and OEE metrics.
•Capability to read and follow a running plan.
•Keen understanding of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
•Flexibility to assist in different areas of operations when necessary.
