Location: Haringey - West Locality
Salary: PO2-PO4 (£41,442 - £50,574 per annum)
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time (36 hours per week)

About the Role
We're looking for a qualified Social Worker to join the West Locality Learning Disabilities Team in Haringey. This team forms part of the Haringey Learning Disability Partnership and works closely with health colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities.
You'll manage a varied caseload, carry out complex assessments, and work directly with individuals, families, and carers to achieve outcomes that promote independence, dignity, and inclusion. This is an opportunity to contribute to an evolving model of locality-based social work that focuses on strengths-based approaches and collaborative working.
What We're Looking For
You'll be a registered Social Worker with relevant experience in adult social care and a sound understanding of key legislation, including:
1. Care Act 2014
2. Mental Capacity Act 2005
3. Mental Health Act 1983
4. Human Rights Act 1998
5. Equalities Act 2010
6. GDPR 2018
We're looking for someone who can:
7. Undertake high-quality assessments and interventions
8. Support people in crisis and manage complex cases
9. Work in a strengths-based, outcome-focused way
10. Maintain strong multi-agency relationships
11. Uphold anti-discriminatory practice
12. Keep up to date with research, policy and best practice
13. Contribute to team development and service improvement
Experience as a Practice Educator or DoLS Assessor is desirable but not essential.
