Fitters Mate - Pumps & Mechanical Services — Location: Chelmsford, Essex | Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum
Responsibilities
* Assisting experienced engineers with the installation, servicing, and maintenance of pump systems
* Supporting workshop and on-site projects across the Essex area and beyond
* Preparing tools, equipment, and materials for each job
* Ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times
* Carrying out basic mechanical tasks under supervision, with opportunities to develop further skills
Qualifications
* Ideally some previous mechanical, workshop, or site-based experience (training will be provided)
* Strong practical skills and a willingness to learn new techniques
* Comfortable working as part of a team and supporting senior engineers
* Reliable, hardworking, and eager to progress within the industry
* Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
