Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a portfolio of infrastructure projects within a framework environment. You will take ownership of significant work packages, providing full commercial management from procurement through to final account.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing the commercial performance of multiple projects or packages
* Leading subcontract procurement and managing supply chain relationships
* Producing and presenting CVRs, forecasts (EAC/ETC), and commercial reports
* Administering NEC contracts, including compensation events and change control
* Managing and mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors
* Working closely with operational teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
* Maintaining strong client relationships and supporting commercial strategy (This is a hybrid role with a mix of office and working from home.)
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a Tier 1 or major contractor environment
* Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (essential)
* Experience managing large-scale infrastructure or civils packages
* Demonstrable experience producing CVRs, forecasts, and managing project finances
* Experience managing or mentoring junior commercial staff
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent) (Experience within water, utilities, or regulated frameworks is highly advantageous)
