Overview

Job description: Independent end-point assessor – Assistant Practitioner (Health) Level 5 – North of England and Suffolk/Essex

Pearson is the world's leading learning company. Pearson provides end-point assessments to ensure apprentices are job-ready and that assessments are consistent across locations and providers.

An independent end-point assessor (IEA) must have no conflict of interest and may only assess apprentices with whom they have no ties to their training provider. IAEs may conduct EPAs onsite or remotely on dates agreed with employers/providers. EPA outcomes are recorded and submitted with clear justifications; EPA activities are quality assured by Pearson representatives.

IEAs will be qualified IQAs that meet the occupational profile of the apprentices they assess and will be trained, standardised and approved to operate as IEAs. They will undertake EPAs in line with the apprenticeship assessment plan and Pearson materials.
