Press Tool Setter/Operator, West Bromwich, £13-14.10 per hour
My client manufacturers metal pressings and assemblies for a wide range of customers. They are looking to expand their team and wish to recruit a proven and experienced Press Tool Setter/Operator.
To ensure that all press setting is carried out in a safe manor and the operators are aware of the operating procedures and Quality standards required. To liaise with Engineering / Toolroom of any technical issues that arise.
Responsibilities: -
To ensure all machinery setting is carried out in accordance with ROSPA (equivalent certificates) Health and Safety Regulations. i.e. Guard cards / Oil cards.
To carry out the setting of the machines using best practice techniques.
To ensure all customer & company Q/C standards are maintained.
To ensure that any operator that is placed on a new set is aware on how to carry out the job operation and understands the paperwork and gauging requirements.
To carry out daily TPM checks are carried out on associated equipment.
Responsible for the upkeep of the machines in your areas and reporting any issues to the Engineering director or Maintenance as soon as they occur.
Ensure that tooling and maintenance job cards are completed correctly and passed on to the correct area and to let production know of the issues.
