As an Electrical Engineer on our Dinorwig Refurbishment Project, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring clean, reliable energy for generations to come.
What You Will Do
* Review and validate electrical design documentation from contractors and existing systems
* Formulate responses to technical queries and requests for information
* Collaborate with Business as Usual (BAU) engineers and operations teams to update design information
* Contribute to the inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
* Ensure compliance with relevant environmental, health, and safety legislation
* Work within management procedures and corporate IT systems to deliver project objectives
What You Will Bring To The Role
* Degree holder in Electrical Engineering or a related field
* Minimum of ten years\' experience in power generation or heavy industrial processes
* Proficient in electrical inspection, testing, and commissioning (FAT & SAT)
* Strong knowledge of LV/MV switchgear, distribution systems, and relevant IEC standards
* Experienced with LV/MV motors, controls, and starting circuits
* Familiar with DC systems, electrical protection systems, and transformers
* Good working knowledge of wiring regulations (BS7671)
* Skilled in using basic IT systems (Word, Excel, etc.)
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
