Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively on various projects. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Roofer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
* Install, repair, and replace roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles.
* Perform roofing inspections to identify issues and recommend solutions.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during roofing projects.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate installation.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.
* Conduct heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment during installation processes.
* Assist in other construction tasks such as carpentry, masonry, or concrete forming when necessary.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields is essential.
* Familiarity with construction estimating techniques is a plus.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to roofing tasks.
* Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
* Experience in carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, plumbing, masonry, welding, or tile laying is preferred.
* Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights.
* Previous experience on construction sites is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of restoration techniques related to roofing systems is an advantage.

Base Pay: £24,420.00-£40,908.61 per year
