Position Summary:
As a Hardware Electronics Engineer with us, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing safety-critical hardware electronic solutions throughout the entire development lifecycle. Working in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements, you'll ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Translate system requirements into clear hardware design requirements.
2. Design, analyse, commission, and verify analogue and digital circuits.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet hardware level requirements.
4. Contribute to the development of system architectures.
5. Support production introduction of new products and handle component obsolescence issues.
Product Hardware Verification & Qualification:
Plan, generate, and perform hardware verification plans and procedures. Support hardware qualification activities. Design and verify equipment test solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or equivalent.
Experience: 3-5 years in Hardware Electronic Engineering.
Essential Skills:
Experience in hardware electronic design. Proficiency in engineering documentation management and hardware verification. Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with Cadence OrCAD, Allegro PCB Editor, pSpice. Familiarity with TI Hercules and NXP iMX6 families of microcontrollers. Knowledge of RTCA DO254 / EUROCAE ED-80 and DO160 / EUROCAE ED-14. Awareness of Avionic data buses such as ARINC-429, MIL-1553, AFDX. Experience with lean design techniques.
Due to the broad criteria, our client is willing to progress with a large pool of candidates including University Graduates up to 5 years Electrical Hardware Engineering experience.
Working Interfaces:
You will collaborate closely with design leads, project managers, and cross-functional teams including systems, safety, software, and mechanical engineers.
