This is an exciting time to join the Council in the team where we empower our tenants to make a difference in the Landlord services that we offer. Our Tenant Voice team develop and provide a range of opportunities for tenants to be involved and influence how we design, deliver, and improve our housing services.
Key Tasks
* Support the delivery of tenant and leaseholder engagement activities, including forums, panels, working groups and consultation sessions and events.
* Support the organisation and coordination of meetings, preparing materials, recording the actions and notes and then tracking follow‑up actions for completion
* You will be a confident communicator and build positive relationships with tenants, leaseholders, and community stakeholders to support them remaining involved.
* Assist in developing accessible information, communications, newsletters, surveys and promotional content alongside our tenants.
* Support digital engagement through online platforms such as Microsoft Teams and our online engagement platform, Your Voice West Lancashire.
* Support and maintain accurate records of involvement activity, feedback, outcomes and tenant groups.
* Support the recruitment, induction and training of involved tenants.
About You
You will be educated to GCSE level and ideally have a relevant housing qualification.
* We are seeking a motivated, outgoing, organised and people focused Tenant Voice Assistant.
* You will have excellent time management and communication skills be approachable and have good people skills.
* You will be confident to speak to tenants and support group discussions.
* You will have strong organisational skills and pay attention to details in a busy environment. The team is small and whilst you may work independently we also need someone who is a team player and can manage their own time and tasks
* You will be positive, have a proactive and empathetic approach, and have excellent IT skills, particularly use of Microsoft Office.
* You will support the capture and analyse of feedback from our tenants events, be a good listener and follow up on actions, co - coordinating requests and enquiries and maintaining our involved tenant list.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo security checks as part of the Baseline Personnel Security Standard for accessing Government records. This will include a Basic DBS check.
