Overview
We require an enthusiastic and committed individual to provide administration support to the Health Board Waiting List / Pre Assessment Departments. This post is permanent. You will be required to be flexible to meet the needs of the service and be able to work well within the team. The Waiting List Department offers a friendly, pro‑active team who will provide you with the necessary support and encouragement. We have over 13,000 staff and together we provide primary, community, in‑hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services. We work in partnership with the three local authorities, as well as public, private and third sector colleagues, including our valued team of volunteers.
Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for assisting the coordination of designated waiting lists, as required, while supervised by the waiting list supervisor. You will be expected to handle confidential health records both manually and on WPAS and demonstrate the ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information.
Qualifications
You must possess excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to undertake a wide range of clerical duties. Accuracy of work and strong keyboard / IT skills are essential, together with the ability to manage your own workload. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
