Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll take the lead in running daily production operations, ensuring high standards are consistently met:
Manage and motivate a team of production operatives
Monitor line performance to hit daily targets
Maintain compliance with BRC, HACCP, and Health & Safety standards
Oversee setup, operation, and cleaning of salad washing and packaging machinery
Accurately record production data, downtime, and shift reports
Troubleshoot technical and staffing issues as they arise
Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
Deliver clear pre- and post-shift handovers
Support training and development across your team
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste
What we're looking for:
We're after a proactive leader who thrives in fast-moving environments:
Proven experience in food production or FMCG manufacturing
Supervisory or leadership background is essential
Knowledge of food safety, BRC, and hygiene protocols
Hands-on experience with automated production lines
Strong communicator with team management skills
Computer literate with good reporting ability
Physically fit and comfortable in chilled environments
Forklift truck licence desirable
Flexible approach to working rotating shifts, weekends, and bank holidays
