About The Opportunity
Simpson Judge are proud to be working with a boutique firm whose Audit Director has recently joined from a large UK practice after seeking a new challenge. Audit is an area where they have real pedigree, but there are limits to what can be achieved with just two of them currently.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong pedigree in audit, likely at or around Assistant Manager level with 1–2 years experience post-qualified, and may now feel that pure audit isn’t quite enough. This role offers the chance to build broader advisory skills while working directly (but not exclusively) with the Director to grow and shape the audit practice.
The firm delivers audit without endless checklists, instead cutting straight to the point in a way clients value. This position is ideal for someone with long-term ambition, who understands this approach and ultimately wants to progress toward RI status and become a relationship “partner” to a dynamic and interesting client base.
