Role description: The role of the Publishing Ethics Analyst is to support large-scale investigations in the published content of scholarly journals. This role involves analysing potential ethical issues, ensuring research integrity, and assisting in maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics.
Responsibilities:
* Accurate assessment of activities by authors, reviewers, editors, guest editors and others
* Assessing large-scale investigations including plagiarism, duplication, authorship disputes, peer review manipulation, and figure manipulation/duplication
* Keeping investigations to schedule, and ensuring articles assigned are handled in a timely manner
* Prioritising work based on team needs
* Supporting the regular team reporting and tracking work progress
Skills：
* Degree in an academic discipline
* Knowledge/experience of STM journal peer-review and the publishing process, and COPE best practices
* Ability to work methodically, problem-solving and fact-checking
* Strong analytical, organizational and prioritization skills
* Excellent communications skills
