This position is regional and would ideally suit someone who lives in Bath or the surrounding area.
What you'll do
Supervising the construction teams and operatives to carry out a variety of projects, you will assist the Site Manager to ensure we meet required standards in accordance with safety, quality, time and cost policies.
You will liaise with both internal departments and external customers to ensure all site activities meet requirements and stakeholder needs.
You will ensure that construction teams and operatives comply with health and safety best practices when performing their work.
To help you monitor health and safety, you'll frequently use your laptop to provide updates and ensure we are complying with our safe systems of work.
What you'll need
You will need to be well‑organised, customer‑focused and committed.
You will also need:
* a good knowledge and understanding of water main replacement techniques
* good leadership skills and proven experience in coordinating and leading teams
* to be able to communicate with the customers and clients
* excellent computer skills with a good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* excellent health and safety knowledge
* a full and valid driving licence.
