Job Opportunity: Senior Financial Accountant
A Private Equity owned business near Southampton is seeking a technically strong Financial Accountant to join their growing team. This market-leading company is known for innovation and is on a growth trajectory to double its turnover in the coming years.
Reporting to the Head of Reporting, the Senior Financial Accountant will be part of a high-performing finance team and will have the following responsibilities:
1. Produce financial statements and information for multiple entities.
2. Ensure accurate balance sheet reporting and reconciliations.
3. Act as the key contact for external auditors and manage the sign-off process.
4. Prepare external statutory returns.
5. Review and improve financial controls and processes continually.
The ideal candidate will be:
1. A qualified accountant with some PQE gained in practice or industry.
2. Possessing excellent technical skills.
3. Proficient with systems and Excel.
4. Ambitious, seeking rapid career progression within finance.
