Aspire People is seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to join a specialist SEN School located in Kettering.
About the Role:
As an SEN TA, you will play a key role in providing one-to-one and group support to students with a range of learning needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Your role will include:
* Supporting the teacher in delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of each student
* Assisting with the development and implementation of personalized learning plans
* Encouraging and fostering positive behaviour and self-confidence in students
* Helping with day-to-day classroom activities, including assisting with personal care if required
* Monitoring progress and providing feedback to both teachers and parents/carers
* Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
What we're looking for:
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with children with special educational needs, and who are eager to make a meaningful impact.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Experience working with children or young people, preferably with SEN experience
* A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A commitment to supporting the educational, emotional, and social development of students
* A flexible and proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
* Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable, but not essential
