Job Description
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Hammersmith, West London – Commercial Office – Up to £45,000
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all plant equipment.
* Support electrical colleagues and work collaboratively with the wider site team to deliver a first‑class maintenance service.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, statutory and company procedures.
* Maintain pumps (heating, chilled water, booster sets), AHUs, ventilation systems, fan coil units, heating systems and associated pipework, pressurisation units, expansion vessels, valves, motors, bearings, belts and seals.
* Fault‑find and diagnose mechanical failures efficiently to minimise downtime.
* Complete maintenance tasks in line with site schedules, SLA requirements and statutory compliance.
* Assist other trades or attend call‑outs when required.
Qualifications
* Level 2/3 mechanical/plumbing C&G/NVQ or equivalent – Essential.
* 3‑5 years FM/building services experience – Essential.
* Experience in document control, reporting and logs.
* Client interaction/client‑facing experience and skills.
* Excellent communication, verbal and written.

Working Hours
* Monday to Friday (40‑hour week): 07:00‑16:00 or 08:00‑17:00.
