Head of Electrical Services (UK) Location: Merseyside Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Sector: Electrical Training, Safety-Critical Infrastructure A leading global provider of safety and technical training is seeking a Head of Electrical Services to lead the development and delivery of electrical training across its UK operations. This newly created role will shape the UK electrical services strategy, oversee training capability, and ensure alignment with global standards across renewables, transmission, distribution, and oil and gas sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing training division, collaborating with internal stakeholders and international subject matter experts to deliver compliant, high-quality training solutions. This is a strategic leadership role with a strong focus on technical credibility, commercial growth, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Lead and grow the UK electrical training services business Develop and implement training strategy, delivery models, and compliance frameworks Collaborate with global teams on curriculum design and blended learning Engage with clients to scope, develop, and deliver tailored training solutions Recruit, onboard, and upskill electrical trainers to meet internal and industry standards Support sales teams with technical insight and client engagement Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth Ensure regulatory and industry compliance across all training servicesEssential Requirements: Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills Experience in the electrical services industry and adult learning Commercial awareness and budget/resource management experience Knowledge of UK/EU electrical supply industry and compliance frameworks Experience in training services, ideally with an electrical focus Minimum 5 years’ experience in a training management role Right to live and work in the UKDesirable: Project management qualification (e.g. Prince2) Experience in a quality-accredited organisation Training qualifications and experience in curriculum development Technical degree or equivalent industry experienceThis is an opportunity to shape the future of electrical training in the UK, working within a global organisation committed to safety, innovation, and workforce development.
