About The Role
The role is based on a 25-hour contract Monday - Friday, however you will be required to work longer than five hours each day based on the work that's been scheduled. This will be paid at the same salaried rate. This is an exciting opportunity to turn your interest in vehicles into a rewarding career. As a Driver, you'll get behind the wheel of a wide variety of vehicles and travel to multiple locations in and around your hub area. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and thrives in a role where every journey is different.
What You'll Be Doing
* Driving a broad range of vehicles to and from different locations with professionalism and care.
* Accurately recording vehicle details using our electronic systems (ePOC and ePOD) on your company-issued device.
* Performing safety and security checks to ensure every vehicle meets our standards before handover.
* Collaborating with your assigned vehicle inspector to plan each day's tasks efficiently, ensuring routes are both cost-effective and timely.
* Ensure secure key management by strictly following on-site processes, allowing for full traceability and accountability.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking reliable, customer-focused individuals with a passion for vehicles and a commitment to quality service. You will bring:
* A full UK driving licence with the ability to confidently drive both cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs).
* A good understanding of vehicle makes, models, and derivatives.
* The ability to stay calm under pressure and work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic mechanical knowledge - not essential, but definitely a plus.
* Tech-savvy mindset - comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and digital platforms like Microsoft Teams.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills - as you'll often be the face of our service, delivering a professional and friendly experience to every customer.
