We are looking for an enthusiastic Global Travel & Expense Apprentice to join our team specializing in travel and expenses for Cummins Services in Darlington (UK). During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you need to become an industry expert and power your potential!
Summary Of The Course
The Global Travel and Expense Apprentice role is a developmental position within the Enterprise Solutions function. During the apprenticeship, you will work 5 days per week, including 1 day per week for study at Darlington College. The working hours are 9am – 5pm with flexibility to suit business needs. Upon completion, you will obtain a Business Admin Level 3 qualification.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will make an impact by:
* Updating and maintaining Enterprise Solutions service level agreements (SLA) or dashboards.
* Maintaining excellent customer service with all internal and external customers.
* Responding to queries from regional travel teams and supporting ad-hoc tasks.
* Assisting with running, preparing, and issuing reports for Business Units at month-end and on an ad-hoc basis.
* Assisting with data analysis, trends, and measures, including collation of data for the monthly Sox review.
* Creating and maintaining Global intranet pages, training materials/videos across travel systems, including the Cummins Learning Centre (CLC).
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs in Math and English at Grade C/4 or above; a Business module would be a benefit but is not essential.
* Good listening and communication skills (written and verbal) and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level.
* Good judgment and integrity, with attention to detail.
* The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, with problem-solving skills and initiative.
