Kingston Eco-op is looking for a motivated support worker to join our team in supporting vulnerable adults at the Searchlight Centre in New Malden, Kingston Upon Thames.
Kingston Eco-op is a day service for adults with a learning disability, mental health concerns and other health conditions. We support people to undertake a variety of activities, socially engage with other clients and staff and enjoy their time with us.
Kingston Eco-Op is a project of Kingston Voluntary Action (KVA), an infrastructure charity that works within the community to drive social change and meet the needs of community organisations and residents
The role will include
* Supporting people with a learning disability and/or mental health condition
* Enabling people to undertake activities in a person-centred way
* Ensuring clients are supported safely and within given guidelines
* Working to a high standard and undertake training
* Working as a team to deliver our service in a fun and friendly way
Salary and hours
We pay the London living wage. The role is 28 hours per week spread over 4 days. It will be a one-year temporary contract with the potential to extend. Annual leave allowance of 27 days pro rata plus bank holidays.
