Your Role as SENCO:
🔹 Lead and manage the SEN provision, ensuring high-quality support for students with a range of additional needs.
🔹 Oversee the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCPs .
🔹 Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on best practices for SEN support and differentiation strategies.
🔹 Monitor student progress, track interventions, and ensure strategies are effective in supporting students’ development.
🔹 Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive, holistic support.
🔹 Ensure compliance with SEN policies and promote inclusion throughout the school.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with the National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete).
✅ Experience in a SENCO role or leading SEN provision in a primary setting.
✅ Strong knowledge of SEN legislation and best practices.
✅ A collaborative, proactive approach with excellent communication and leadership skills .
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
