About the role
We are seeking a Data Administrator Team Leader to join our friendly team at Hathaway Medical Centre. You will lead our Data and Secretary Team, ensuring all patient data is accurately recorded, validated, and reported in line with practice and NHS standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, thrives on accuracy, and has the confidence to lead a team in a busy healthcare setting.
Key responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and develop the Data Team.
* Collect, Code and review complex patient data.
* Process SARS and Insurance requests.
* Ensure GDPR and compliance in all data handling.
* Support clinical audits and quality improvement projects.
* Train staff and apprentices on clinical systems and applications.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and external agencies
* Working closely, supporting Clinical Staff, Secretaries Team and Office Staff
Essential skills required
* Strong IT and analytical skills (Excel, MS Office, clinical software).
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Experience working with data in healthcare, NHS, or similar environment.
* Leadership skills with the ability to manage and support a team.
* A proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement.
* Wants to be a part of a caring team and medical practice with excellent customer care skills
Desirable skills
* Previous NHS Primary Care experience.
* Team leader/management training.
* Knowledge of GP systems (SystmOne, QOF, iGPR and Peoplecloud).
* Pro-active, organised and attention to detail
