Business Travel Consultant Out of Office Hours 30 hours per week evenings and weekends only Benefits -Remote working -Private healthcare insurance -Dental healthcare insurance -28 days holiday -Salary up to £38k Shifts are not set 4 shifts per week, typically 2 midweek and 2 weekend Shift patterns are Mon Fri - 1800-0130 or 0100-0830, except Fri to Sat shift when it is 0100-0930 / weekend shifts are 0900-1730 / 1700-0130 / 0100-0930 Currently one full weekend off every 5 to 6 weeks could be less but given our current capacity this is more typical. Shifts can run over during the weekend not unusual for an OOHs team During the evenings and bank holidays, the role is very much required on an 'on call basis. The email and call volumes are significantly less and the role does not require the successful candidate to be 'at a desk awaiting calls or emails, but does require the candidate to be available to take quick action if required. Business Travel Consultant Duties: Provide support and excellent customer service to clients outside of office hours, ensuring clients receive the same outstanding level of service provided by 'the day office. Book all aspects of urgent Travel that is required, including flights, car hire, hotels & transfers. Responding to emails & calls off clients received outside of the day office opening hours Monitoring and actioning the GDS queues on a Saturday and/or Sunday. Assisting with some administration duties Complete handovers to provide a seamless customer experience. Essential Requirements: Business Travel experience is essential Fully proficient on a GDS Ideally Sabre Happy to work weekends and evenings remotely. Please note only suitable candidates from a business travel background with GDS experience will be considered for this post.
