Description
Our client producers of quality engineered thermoplastic products and materials ar seeking an experienced CNC Miller.
CNC Miller Responsibilities:
* Programme and set up CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
* Select appropriate tools and fixtures for each job
* Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy
* Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
* Maintain a clean and organised work area
CNC Miller Requirements/Skills:
* Previous experience setting and operating CNC Milling machines is essential.
* Previous experience setting and operating CNC Lathes is desirable, but not essential.
* Previous experience working with XYZ Prototrak Machine controls would be beneficial.
* Strong knowledge of tooling and machining techniques.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Basic math skills for calculations and measurements.
* Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
