In a Nutshell
This role combines strategic marketing and new business development to drive our client’s growth and market presence. You'll work closely with the founders, and Creative & Strategy to elevate their profile through compelling marketing campaigns, thought leadership, and community engagement, whilst actively developing new business opportunities by talking directly to brands and understanding their business and marketing pain-points.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who excels at both strategic thinking and hands-on execution – someone who can think big picture whilst rolling up their sleeves to deliver results.
What You'll Be Doing...
Marketing & Brand Visibility
* Own and deliver the agency's outbound marketing calendar, aligned to strategic priorities
* Manage and update the agency website, ensuring it reflects our best work, awards, and insights
* Write, edit, and maintain case studies and thought leadership content (blogs, LinkedIn posts, PR opportunities, industry commentary)
* Implement the agency's content and social strategy across LinkedIn and other channels
* Ensure brand consistency across all communications and materials
* Spearhead award entries to showcase our best work
Business Development
* Prospect and build relationships with potential clients, by engaging directly with brands, understanding their business and marketing pain-points (supported by our database, prospecting tools, and insight materials)
* Manage the agency's CRM/database and outbound mailing tool, ensuring leads are logged, tracked, and nurtured
* Collaborate with the strategy and creative teams to prepare credentials, RFIs, proposals, and pitch decks
* Support pitch processes with strong deck design, storytelling, and formatting
* Liaise with external partners (SEO agency and website developers) to ensure a connected plan across channels
Events & Community
* Organise and deliver agency-hosted and sponsored events (breakfast briefings, webinars, roundtables)
* Develop and grow their Community – connecting with brand leaders who care about partnerships, activations, and culture-led marketing
* Source and manage speaking opportunities for senior leaders
* Represent the agency at industry events and networking opportunities (with flexible arrangements available)
* Manage industry memberships and maintain up-to-date profiles
About You...
Essential Experience and Skills
* Proven experience in agency marketing and/or new business development
* Background in marketing events or community management
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to craft compelling messages and tell engaging stories
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively
* Hands-on experience managing content calendars and digital channels, particularly LinkedIn
* Working knowledge of martech tools such as CRM platforms, Mailchimp, and Google Analytics
* Comfortable with presentation design and formatting (PowerPoint, Canva, Keynote)
* Results-oriented and growth-focused, able to think strategically and execute tactically
* Collaborative and proactive; motivated by delivering measurable outcomes
Desirable Experience and Skills
* Experience with Zoho and Prospectpal
* Digital marketing or campaign management experience
