Electrical Supervisor (Power & EV Infrastructure)
Location: Barnsley-Office Based Role occasional travel required
Salary: Up To £45,000 + Van & Fuel Card
My client are growing multi-utility and infrastructure delivery partner, currently expanding its capability further in electrical and EV infrastructure.We are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to support the delivery, coordination, and on-site performance of electrical works across a growing portfolio of infrastructure projects.
This role is suited to a hands-on leader with strong operational experience, capable of managing teams, driving performance, and ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and delivery across multiple sites.
Role Overview
Reporting into the Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient delivery of electrical works, including:
* Supervising electrical operatives and subcontractors across multiple sites
* Coordinating works across LV/HV and EV infrastructure projects
* Driving programme, quality, and productivity on-site
* Ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations
* Supporting mobilisation of new projects and workstreams
* Maintaining clear communication between site teams and management
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery & Site Performance
* Supervise electrical works across multiple live projects
* Ensure works are delivered on programme and to required quality standards
* Monitor productivity and drive performance across teams
* Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently
2. Operational Coordination
* Manage day-to-day site activities and work fronts
* Coordinate with civils and multi-utility teams for integrated delivery
* Ensure effective communication across all site personnel
* Support smooth mobilisation and demobilisation of projects
3. Compliance & Quality
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality on-site
* Ensure works align with BS 7671 and relevant industry requirements
Sector Experience
* Experience delivering electrical works within utilities, infrastructure, or construction
* Experience in EV infrastructure or charge point installation (desirable)
* Understanding of DNO environments and constraints (advantageous)
