This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming primary school supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).\n\nAs a Learning Support Assistant in Coventry, you will provide essential 1:1 and group support tailored to the individual needs of children with SEN. You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to help deliver personalised learning programmes and support EHCP targets.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide targeted support for children with SEN in the classroom\n\nAdapt resources and learning activities to support individual progress\n\nAssist in promoting positive behaviour and independence\n\nCollaborate with staff to maintain an inclusive and safe learning environment\n\nCandidate Requirements:\n\nLevel 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (essential)\n\nExperience working with children with SEN in a school setting\n\nStrong understanding of SEN strategies and approaches\n\nCommitment to supporting children's development and wellbeing\n\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team\n\nBased in or able to commute to Coventry\n\nAvailable full-time from September\n\nThis role offers a very strong chance to become permanent, providing long-term stability and career progression in Meriden.\n\nAcademics is dedicated to placing experienced education professionals in schools across the UK.
