Corporate Fundraising Manager

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and relationship‑driven individual with proven experience in corporate fundraising and strategic partnership management. This is a home‑based role with regular travel across NCA sites and into the business community.
Main duties of the job
* Grow NorthCare Charity's corporate income by developing strategic and long‑lasting partnerships with businesses and organisations.
* Help deliver the corporate fundraising strategy, monitor targets and identify opportunities to grow income.
* Build new relationships across Greater Manchester and the wider business community; network at business events and forums, represent the charity and build a strong pipeline of new supporters.
* Steward existing partners and lead high‑profile corporate initiatives and strategic events that strengthen relationships, raise income and increase the charity's visibility.
* Develop partnership proposals and support campaigns, appeals and marketing activity with fundraising and communications colleagues.
* Maintain accurate records in line with fundraising regulation, data protection and NCA policies.
* Work remotely and independently while contributing to a positive and supportive team culture; flexibility required to attend events or meetings outside normal hours.
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in fundraising, business, marketing or a related field.
* Professional qualification in fundraising (e.g., IoF Certificate in Fundraising).
Knowledge, Training & Experience
* Knowledge of the charity and voluntary sector, particularly corporate giving & sponsorship; substantial business experience in relationship management, sales or account development is also considered.
* Significant experience in corporate fundraising, partnership development and relationship management.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding income targets.
* Experience of developing and delivering strategic fundraising plans aligned with organisational objectives.
* Experience of leading or managing fundraising campaigns and/or events that engage business and community audiences.
* Understanding of fundraising regulations, charity law and best practice (Fundraising Regulator, Charity Commission, Data Protection).
* Experience working collaboratively with colleagues and across teams to achieve fundraising budgets, deliver plans and maximise income opportunities.
* Knowledge of using CRM systems to manage relationships and report on fundraising performance.
* Knowledge of fundraising within the NHS.

* Exceptional relationship and networking skills; ability to engage and inspire a wide range of supporters and stakeholders.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to create and sell compelling cases for support and proposals.
* Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to identify and maximise opportunities.
* Excellent planning, organisational and project management skills; able to manage priorities and deadlines independently.
* Confident public speaker and advocate for NorthCare Charity; able to represent the Charity professionally in business and community settings at all levels.
* Ability to monitor, evaluate and act on fundraising data to support planning, decision making and income targets and growth.
* Strong team player; demonstrates positivity, enthusiasm and a collaborative approach.
* Self‑motivated and able to work remotely and independently; managing workload and prioritising effectively.
* Committed to maintaining high standards, acting with integrity and ensuring excellent stewardship of all supporters and funds.

Depending on experience: £39,959–£48,117 (Band 6) / £49,387–£56,515 (Band 7) per annum.
