Job Overview Children's services within the East Integrated Health Community are looking to recruit a forward thinking, Service Manager to CAMHS. A valid and relevant professional registration is required, as well as significant management and CAMHS clinical experience at Band 7 or equivalent. Main duties of the job Initiate and implement changes and improvements in services and systems within area of management by the use of highly complex information, which requires analytical skills, interpretation and option appraisal for the safe management of services. To have oversight of the CAMHS budget, ensuring that resources are used efficiently, effectively and in a manner consistent with the Operational Plan, the Health Board’s overall objectives and National Guidelines. Raise awareness amongst staff of the importance of the efficient utilisation of these resources. Provide effective managerial leadership and motivation of staff, taking positive, pro-active and flexible approaches to decision-making and management including long-term work force planning. Promote a culture which encourages initiative, high standards of performance and quality of care, and supports Clinical Governance. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
