The Holiday Inn Blackpool & Marco's New York Italian Restaurant, an IHG Hotel, opened in April 2024. This brand new
four-star hotel is part of a wider regeneration project for Blackpool, including retail units and improved public transport links, with a new tram terminal, all within the Talbot Gateway central business district. The hotel features 144 bedrooms, 3 meeting rooms, and the renowned restaurant Marco Pierre White New York Italian, with independent street access.

As a Food & Beverage Team Member at The Holiday Inn Blackpool, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. You will work within the team to create memorable dining experiences, ensuring that every guest receives the highest level of service across all food & beverage outlets, including breakfast at Holiday Inn, room service, conference events, Platform 9, and Marco’s New York Italian.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER
What you'll be doing...
* Welcoming guests warmly and providing attentive service to ensure an enjoyable experience from start to finish.
* Accurately taking and processing food and drink orders, noting and fulfilling special requests.
* Serving food and drinks with care, maintaining high presentation standards and smooth timing.
* Setting up, cleaning, and resetting tables and service areas to keep the dining space inviting and organized.
* Preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including basic barista duties and non-alcoholic drinks.
* Assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies to keep the dining area well-stocked.
* Upholding hygiene and safety standards to ensure a clean and compliant workspace.
* Collaborating with kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service and support each other for smooth operations.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
* A friendly, professional approach with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
* Previous food and beverage service experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
* Good communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
* A keen eye for detail, especially in order accuracy and food presentation.
* Team-oriented mindset, ready to support others and keep service flowing.
* Flexibility and energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling peak times with ease.
