Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivatedGroup Business Development Managerto lead our business growth initiatives. This role will involve identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and enhancing our market presence in the evolving energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Strategy Development:Formulate and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth and budget targets.
* Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
* Sales Leadership:Drive sales initiatives, presenting tailored solutions to clients and negotiating contracts.
* Market Analysis:Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in engineering and energy sectors.
* Project Oversight:Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure alignment of business objectives with operational capabilities.
* Industry Engagement:Represent Pier Solutions at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
* Experience:Proven track record in business development within engineering & design, modular builds, fabrication, manufacturing, electrical servicing, energy transition, renewables, BESS and PC/EPC contracting.
* Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of the energy sector, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with a focus on energy transition initiatives.
* Education:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
* Skills:Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Travel Requirements:Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
