The successful applicant will work in close partnership with other staff to pursue continual school improvement and to enrich the lives and learning of the children and families in our community. Candidates will need: • To be an outstanding practitioner • To have high expectations for both learning and behaviour • To be able to set the highest standards for themselves and others • To be an excellent team player • To have excellent communication skills • To have excellent subject and curriculum knowledge • To have proven experience of managing SEN provision • To have the ability to work in collaboration with all stakeholders, including teaching and non teaching staff, parents and outside agencies. • To have knowledge and understanding of the latest SEND legislation • To have achieved or is working towards or willing to work towards the SENDCo Award.
