Shift Schedule:
You will work 30 hours per week with two shift patterns available:
Week 1:
Thursday to Sunday: 07:30–15:30 (7.5 hrs/day)
Week 2:
Tuesday to Friday: 07:30–15:30 (7.5 hrs/day)
Role Responsibilities:
4. Supervise and motivate the housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver high standards of cleanliness across the unit.
5. Daily cleaning of all areas according to schedules and specifications, using correct methods and equipment.
6. Maintain documentation, including cleaning schedules and stock control logs.
7. Operate laundry equipment (sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and storing items).
8. Clean client rooms and communal areas, using appropriate electrical equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners, polishers, carpet cleaners).
9. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any faults.
10. Manage waste disposal in line with health and safety protocols.
11. Carry out regular audits and provide feedback to staff and management.
12. Maintain an up-to-date COSHH register.
13. Liaise with the Estates and Health & Safety departments as required.
14. Handle complaints effectively and follow company procedures.
Note: Previous experience in a cleaning or secure environment is desirable.
