Are you an experienced Maintenance Operative looking for a long term opportunity? We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks across residential properties in the Stevenage area.This is a temp-to-perm role offering stability, a council van for daily use, and the chance to join a supportive and well established property services team.
The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance work, including:
* Basic carpentry repairs (doors, skirting, frames, and general repairs)
* Tiling installation and repairs
* Shower maintenance and installation, including reseals and minor plumbing fixes
* General property repairs within occupied and void properties
* Completing job sheets and maintaining professional tenant interactions
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
What We're Looking ForExperience in a maintenance or multi-trade roleCompetency in carpentry, tiling, and shower-related workFull UK driving licenceAbility to work independently and manage your own workloadStrong customer service skills
Desirable:
* Experience within social housing or local authority settings
* Relevant trade qualifications
