About You
As an EDI Programme Lead at Birmingham City Council, you will play a pivotal role in driving meaningful and measurable change across the organisation. This role is focused on closing equity gaps, fostering a culture of belonging, and embedding inclusion into every part of the Council’s work.
You will lead on the design and delivery of EDI programmes that reflect the diverse needs of our workforce- guided by data, compliance with the Equality Act 2010, and an intersectional approach. Working across teams and with key stakeholders, you will influence behaviours, shift mindsets, and create initiatives that ensure every colleague can thrive.
From analysing complex datasets and addressing systemic barriers, to supporting staff networks and delivering inclusive recruitment practices, your work will shape a fairer, more inclusive Birmingham City Council for all.
